Did Bio-Feedback help you at all?  I am trying to get information from someone that has actually tried it?

I have tried many different alternative treatments, too many to name that did not work LOL!

So I thought I would be positive & share those things that did work for me, and that I still use on a regular basis.  Including on what I am waiting to get.

2 alternative therapies/treatments I have found helpful are guided imagery, using CD's like lifescapes & a mp3 called the crystal cave when pain levels are extremely high.  Also a computer program that uses Alpha brain waves (awesome!)  called Neuro programmer 2 home edition: By Transparent Corporation.  I do swear by the Alpha Program.  They have a downloadable trial version before you buy.  The cd/download has 115 audio-visual sessions that you can change/adjust to suit your needs.  It is not just for pain for all kinds of things.  I actually use my program daily.

you can find it at http://www.transparentcorp.com/
look under programs/software or products for Neuro programmer 2

love and light to all, Nctunes

I was supposed to learn it through one of my pain clinics and did some reading on it, however the program in that clinic failed before we even began treatment with it.  When I switched Dr's I was unable to obtain it as it was not something that this Dr. worked with.

Sorry, I could not help further!   :'(

 :) Greetings,
I have tried several types of relaxation techniques largely to not avail.

I achieve the best result by closing myself off in a semi dark room & chilling out to a desired TV program.  If things are too difficult, I will retreat to a favorite CD accompanied with a do not disturb sign on the door.  I haven't seen anything that helps in this process other than just shutting the world around me completely out.

As for biofeedback, I have not had the process described to me in such a way to make it attractive.  This process dates back to the days I was having horrific migraines, seemed that no medicine on the planet would help.

I bid you all rest beyond the norm. & a peace that passes all understanding, gojogo   :)

I have tried biofeed back with the psychologist at my pain clinic and I do think it is very helpful.  I also use hypnosis.

Today I am planning to record my therapist hypnotizing me so that I can be more successful doing this at home.  I swear by hypnosis & self relaxation techniques using a sea scape for my visualization.  My happy place on a beach where it is warm!

I have tried some yoga, but I have so much difficulty with trying to always adapt to not spend too much time on my left leg, it doesn't seem to give me as much relief as the hypnosis or relaxation with visualization does.
